1. Overview

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not satisfied, you may be eligible to return your order in line with the policy below.

This policy applies to purchases made through the Returnables website and complies with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.


2. Change of Mind (Distance Selling)

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing (by email or letter) within 14 days of delivery.

Once cancelled, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.


3. Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in a resalable condition

  • Be returned in their original packaging

  • Not show signs of damage, excessive wear, or misuse

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if returned items do not meet these conditions.


4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that:

  • Have been used

  • Have been washed or put into service

  • Are clearly intended for food use and have been opened or handled

This does not affect your rights in relation to faulty or mis-described goods.


5. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We will arrange one of the following at no additional cost to you:

  • A replacement

  • A repair (where appropriate)

  • A full refund

Photographic evidence may be requested to help us resolve the issue quickly.


6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.

  • We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

  • Where goods are faulty or incorrect, return shipping costs will be covered by us.


7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.


8. Business Customers

Purchases made by schools, trusts, local authorities, or other organisations acting in a business capacity are not automatically entitled to consumer cancellation rights. Returns for business customers are accepted at our discretion and must be agreed in advance.
